Penny Neild MD FRCP

Penny Neild has been a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at St. George’s Hospital and University, London, since 2001. She is also one of seven hospital consultants who form The London Gastroenterology Partnership, an integrated private service for patients with digestive and liver complaints.

Penny’s particular clinical interests lie in functional bowel disorders and nutritional problems. She is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, at both the organisational and teaching level, nationally and locally. She is also closely involved with the Royal College of Physicians’ Nutrition Committee and the British Society of Gastroenterology Small Bowel Nutrition Committee.

Penny’s belief in the power of information and knowledge extends to recognition of its value to patients, hence her involvement with Patient Pictures.
